I’ve noticed that whenever life starts feeling overwhelming, my first instinct is to reorganize something—a cupboard, a desk, a drawer, even a corner of my room.
And somehow, it helps.
The way we keep our surroundings often reflects what’s going on inside us. Our environment can be a mirror of our inner world.
When we tidy, declutter, and create a little more space around us, something shifts internally too.
We feel lighter.
Clearer.
Less overwhelmed by everything that still needs figuring out.
It’s a simple practice, but one that reminds me that sometimes, before we can reorganize our lives, we need to reorganize our surroundings.
A cleaner space doesn’t solve all our problems.
But it often makes them feel a little easier to face.
